Suppose the lemons (ie the passengers) who, I am sure, grumble to each other as they get on and off the bus, refused to move. What do you think would happen? I'll tell you - nothing. The bus driver would just change the number and carry on. I don't know what appals me more; my fellow-citizens who passively accept this nonsense or the creators/enforcers of this nonsense.
It's grim, I agree. Depressing.
