Bob Ainsworth
The gentleman pictured above is 'Bob' Ainsworth. In June this year he was appointed Minister of State for Defence, in effect the No. 3 at the MoD. Since 1992, he has been the Labour MP for Coventry North East.
I have just had the dubious pleasure of watching him on BBC News 24 defending the MoD against charges that it had directly contributed to the death in Iraq in June 2004 of a 19-year-old private soldier, Gordon Gentle, as a consequence of its failure to equip Land Rovers with an electronic defensive device, known as Element B, despite the fact that these devices had already been sent to Iraq.
It was the most shambolic performance by a government minister I have ever seen. Incoherent, rambling, shifty and, self-evidently, deeply dishonest.
Can I refer you all to the post below?
What have we done to deserve this collection of inadequate half-wits?
There are moments when despair seems almost too optimistic.

What have we done to deserve them? God knows but have them we do.
Even the best of them can be described as shifty and the worst, well seems that you have put the picture of that one up.
